Our claim as the Original hog roasters is pretty bold, after all Henry VIII was rather partial to a wild boar or two for his Sunday roast. However it was Droversway that started roasting meats for the general public at agricultural events and country shows back in the 1960's.

It began as a bit of fun to raise money for the church - but you can't beat the delicious taste and sumptuous flavour that is derived from cooking a whole pig, and soon people were crying out for more.

Alan Rymond founder of Droversway Catering started the business using only the finest pork sourced from local farmers and butchers. As an ex-farmer and butcher himself he was very aware of the importance of quality - in the meat, its preparation, cooking and service - and it's Droversway commitment to giving 100% satisfaction in all of these things, that set our hog roasts, beef roasts and lamb roasts apart from the rest.

For those of you who know, we cook Simmental Beef reared in the Scottish Highlands, Texel Lamb and best British Pork, bred for its tenderness and flavour - for those of you who are unfamiliar with these names, be assured that they are the best!
